Welcome To The Vampire Hunter D Santuary!

Welcome to my wonderful Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust webpage! Here you will find all you need to know about Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

Synopsis: The story of Vampire Hunter D is simply this: Vampires are rising up once again to raise havoc. There is one vampire in particular that the story is based around. Meier Link (the vampire) has finally found love (or so it seems) in a mortal woman named Charlotte. Charlotte comes from a wealthy family and one day, Meier Link decides to kidnap her. Devastated, her father sends out a reward to save his daughter. A vampire hunter (who is half vampire himself) known only as D, hears the call and is willing to help save Charlotte. But, D isn't the only one up to saving Charlotte. He has some competition with the Markus brothers, who are also after the reward. And they are armed with plenty of guts and armed state-of-the-art weaponry. Meanwhile, Charlotte is slowing falling in love with Meier Link but it seems Meier Link can't control his bloodlust. Chaos ensues and it seems that there is a sinister evil that has laid a hidden trap that few expect and none may survive.

The Characters:

Known only as D, this man is set out by Charlotte's father to save Charlotte. He was born by a mortal mother and a vampire father. He is outcast for his tainted blood, yet respected for his legendary prowess in hunting creatures of the night. He is the one who goes head to head against the evil blood countess Camila and of course, the vampire who kidnaps Charlotte, Meier Link.
Left Hand is the parasite in the shape of a human face on D's left hand. Often times, he criticizes D and makes the occasional joke here and there. I tell you, Left Hand must hurt when D closes his hand, don't you think? It was only a suggestion and a poor attempt at a joke.
Meier Link is the notorious evil vampire that kidnaps Charlotte.  Though he may seem rather calm (especially in this picture, looking rather quiet, isn't he?) he is quite an evil vampire. He finds love with Charlotte and the two become forbidden lovers. But, with every vampire there comes a bloodlust. Meier Link attempts to control his but in the end, he ends up destroying his own mortal lover.
Carmila was the ruler when all vampires were all-powerful and unchallenged. She was known as the Blood Countess (kind of like Elizabeth Bathory*, hee, hee.) She ruled supreme within the Castle Of Chaythe. But, her reign did not last as she was destroyed by a sword through the heart by D.
Charlotte Elbourne , whom you know by now is Meier Link's forbidden mortal lover, is the daughter in the fairly wealthy Elbourne family. She is kidnapped and taken to Meier Link's castle. Though she is quite frightened at first, she grows to love Meier Link. She is nearly heartbroken when the Markus brothers try to take her home and Meier Link goes out in the burning sun to try and get his lover back. Charlotte runs back to him and manages to save Meier from a very burning demise. In the end, she ends up losing her life and the one she loved.
John Elbourne is Charlotte's father. He is the one who offers the reward out to save his daughter from Meier Link (and of course D hears the call) John loves his daughter and he only wishes for her to have a safe return home.
Alan Elbourne is Charlotte's fiercely protective brother (sorry for the horribly distorted picture but it was sadly, the best one I could find) He is willing to go to any length to keep his sister from being harmed. He is very scared when he discovers that his sister has been kidnapped.

And sorry for the short biography, but I really can't say much about this guy.

Borgoff is the oldest of the Markus brothers. He, like the rest of the brothers, desperately want the reward more than anything and will stop at nothing to get it. He is the inherent leader of the group, quite fearless, ruthless, and very violent.
The second brother of the Markus brothers, Nolt is very huge and very powerful. He is also known to be the strongest of all of them. Nolt is a man of very few words, he usually lets his actions speak for himself.
Kyle is the third brother, quite reckless and very flashy with his little spinning weapon right there in the picture (note that that weapon comes in handy quite often in Kyle's case) He is quite quick witted and does not like to mess around.
Even though he is the most frail of the Markus brothers, Grove possesses a very strong spirit. He has a little ghost that he can remove from his body to do things that his frail physical body cannot do. Kind of neat to have a little ghost to possess, huh? I sure would want that.
Though Leila may not be a brother, she is still part of the team of the Markus brothers. She is the one that ends finding D wounded and she saves him and helps him heal. Aggressive, sexy, and defiantly lethal, she hates all beings with vampire's blood (which kind of makes you wonder why she aids and saves D, oh, well, it's a mystery, eh?)
Benge is a member of a secretive monster group formally named the Barbarios. (And once again, I find another horribly distorted picture, dammit, this damn search engines suck!) This evil being weaves traps and illusions made with shadows and black cloth.
Mashira is one monster that you would want to avoid. A formidable force of nature, he has the ability to turn into a literal werewolf beast. He does have a human form and looks relatively innocent when he is in it but when he is not, you might want to run for your life. He, along with Caroline and Benge, is a sole member of the Barbarios.
Caroline is the deadliest member of the Barbarios. She alone has the ability to transform into any form, whether it be a tree or a tank, and manipulate it to her will. D runs into her and has quite a nasty fight with her.
